Bistro Boulevard is a casual restaurant simulation from Fugazo, creators of the World Mosaics series as well as Fiction Fixers. I finally got there and oh what a disappointment. So the atmosphere is certainly there, especially on a cold wet winter’s night. The menu is typically authentically French (at least in writing!) and they have French staff. My chicken dish would have been perfect with some garlic, herbs and other seasoning in the sauce. Honestly I could have cooked it better at home myself using a YouTube tutorial for a fraction of the cost. The wine was nice but extremely expensive. Several bottles we drink regularly were a 50% mark up from the bottle shop down the road where we could buy them. And we had the wait staff within ear shot all night discussing their personal lives!! For $150 I really want more bang for my buck.
